Pricing Guidelines for Churches & Faith-Based Schools

How We Price Our Work

Every church and school is different, so we don't have a rate card. Our fees reflect the complexity of your finances and the scope of what you need from us.

As a general guideline, our engagements typically come to about 2% of your total annual budget, across all funds.

We use total budget because it reflects the size and complexity of the financial picture we'll be helping you steward. It also keeps our fees proportionate: a smaller ministry pays less than a larger one, and our fees scale with your needs as you grow.

1. Complexity of Your Funds

Multiple restricted funds, endowments, or a capital campaign call for more attention than a single operating budget.

2. Scope of Work

Ongoing fractional finance director support, a defined project (such as compensation benchmarking or a feasibility study), or a combination.

3. Current State of Your Books

Clean, current records take less time than cleanup or restructuring.

4. Governance and Reporting Needs

Board and finance committee reporting, denominational requirements, and compliance obligations all affect scope.

5. Staffing and Existing Support

We work alongside your bookkeeper, treasurer, and staff, and the more support you already have in place, the more we can focus on strategy.

Not a One-Size-Fits-All Fee

We would rather build the right engagement than sell a package that doesn't fit. Some organizations are best served by a lighter ongoing relationship, and others by a focused, time-bound project.

Your proposal will spell out exactly what's included, so there are no surprises.

Let's Talk About Your Situation

Tell us a little about your church or school, and we'll give you a clear, honest estimate. There's no obligation.
